The Perfect Garment

I am so glad that scarves came back into style. I love them. I love all different colors and textures. I especially love the infinity scarves. (For some reason I always try to call them unity scarves. Ha. Ha.)

Scarves are the perfect accessory. The perfect garment. Do you agree? Men…I’m not sure what your equivalent would be…so, you are just going to have to take my word about scarves and follow me on this.

Have a hole in the front of your shirt? Scarf.

Stain on your shirt? Scarf.

Want to hide your, um, over-abundance of “blessings”? Scarf.

Not enough “blessing”? Scarf.

Too cold? Scarf.

Your shirt is too bland? Scarf.

Need more color to brighten your face? Scarf.

Watery eyes? Scarf.

See? They are perfect. Absolutely perfect!

Did you know that the Bible says that God has picked out the perfect spiritual garment for us? Seriously. Check this out:

(Colossians 3:12-14 MSG) “So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And, regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic all-purpose garment. Never be without it.”

The perfect accessory for our lives. Love covers all defects. Love covers your imperfections. Love brightens your life. Love wipes away your tears.

Love. ❤
